Financial Accounting Section

Provides general ledger, revenue and expenditure accounting for funds in the County Treasury

Responsible for preparing and processing financial transactions through the financial system,
which provides appropriation and budgetary control for County funds and special districts under
the authority of the Board of Supervisors

Performs County budget activities specified in code, in coordination with CAO

Prepares cash flow projections and monitors cash as required

Oversees County Clerk

Prepares the County’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report

Prepares the annual report to the State Controller
Payroll Section

Responsible for centralized aspects of payroll processing for over 7000 County employees, including tax deposits and reports.
